Introduction and welcome.

Thank you for visiting.  I am Anna.

I have started a journey in the virtual world that will help me explore dynamics of relationships that have long held me in suspense.  This blog is a record of that journey.  I state for the record that this is a personal journey, and that under no circumstances would I ever assert that a certainty for me is immutable or general, applicable to all.  Quite the contrary: from the little that I know today about examined and eroticized human relationships, especially those in the "Taken in Hand" tradition, it is already clear to me that what is good for one person is not necessarily good for another.  Tastes, temperaments, attitudes and philosophical positions differ widely and are in flux: it is important not to judge but, rather, to examine thoughtfully.

Sexuality is a personal matter:  I would like to explore safely, thoroughly, with all my anima.  With all my heart!  With all my imagination and creativity and open-mindedness.

I do not hope to gain anything beyond this knowledge: this is, after all, a virtual world that I'm exploring (and Second Life is my virtual world of choice).  I do not mean to change anybody's life.  I do not mean to upset anybody's applecart.   I do mean to learn, to seek, and to engage with.  I will leave as gentle a footprint as I possibly can, and I hope that others, too, tread as gently through their journeys as they intersect with mine.

With that introduction said, therefore, I will get to the business of research and record-keeping.
